4th of July is Nearly Here!
July 4, 2016 @ 8:00 am - 9:00 pm
Beauty on the Fourth!
Have you made your plans for Fourth of July yet? The family BBQs are going to be cooking, the beach picnics and family gatherings are definitely happening, so the only details left for you to plan out revolve around the perennial question, “Are you beach ready?”
If you are looking a little pale because you haven’t quite made it out yet to get a bronzed glow, pop in before the 4th for a quick spray tan. And what outdoor get together wouldn’t feel summery cool with a quick braid in our StyleLab for $20 of if you want that braid picked up, remember our UpStyling is just $45.
As a reminder, the best spots in Miami to check out the evening fireworks displays are Key Biscayne, Downtown Miami or our local’s favorite spot – the sandy beaches of South Beach. As a quick reference, here are the local spots and the times of each event.
City of Miami Beach
Sobe’s annual “Fire on the Fourth” Festival from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the North Shore Park Bandshell at 73rd Street and Collins Avenue. There will be food trucks and live music with the fireworks display beginning at 9 p.m. If you plan to watch them from the beach, get there early to claim your spot.
Bayfront Park & Bayside Marketplace are presenting America’s Birthday Bash, which is one of South Florida’s largest fireworks displays. Entry into Bayfront Park is free from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) until 12:00 a.m. (Midnight) and hosts a super-cool kid zone, complete with a variety of food and beverage choices, a petting zoo, prize giveaways and live music. The fireworks show starts at 9 p.m.
Village of Key Biscayne
Key Biscayne is hosting its 56th annual Fourth of July Parade at 11 a.m. along Crandon Boulevard so bring the kids along to see traditional floats, marching bands and awesome decorated golf carts. A Kiwanis Picnic on the Village Green will immediately follow the parade and this offshore fireworks display also begins at 9 p.m.
More than a decade ago, William McAllister hatched an idea to disrupt the beauty salon industry in Miami Beach. He contemplated what salons once were in years gone by. He yearned to recapture their unique contributions to both personal beauty & community. In the past 10 years, he’s forever changed the industry, and according to him, he’s just getting started! He draws from a unique background – encompassing everything from neurophysiology, business to firefighting- and built South Beach’s busiest & most reviewed beauty concept in South Florida.
