Near Wynwood & Design District
Wynwood and the Design District are where Miami keeps its galleries, its murals and its luxury retail — and during Art Week, a very large share of the events that make the city impossible to book a chair in. We are across the bay from both.
Getting here
Over the Julia Tuttle or MacArthur, depending on which end you are starting from.
The trip from Wynwood & Design District
The Julia Tuttle or the MacArthur, depending which end of the district you start from. Both land you within a short run of 1301 Alton Road, where parking is free in our own lot.
Who we see from Wynwood & Design District
A creative crowd with more appetite for change than most — this is where our bolder color work tends to originate, and where a cut is more likely to be a decision than a maintenance appointment. Art Week concentrates it dramatically: gallery openings and vernissages all week, all wanting a look.

Common Questions
- Can you do bold or unconventional color?
- Yes, and it starts with a consultation rather than a price. Vivid work is usually a two-step process on most hair, so it needs a conversation and often more than one appointment to do responsibly. Bring a photo and we will tell you honestly what your hair will and will not do.
- How far ahead should I book for Art Week?
- Further than you think. Color belongs two to three weeks before Miami Art Week, and smoothing treatments two to three weeks as well — not the week of. Blowouts and nails can be same-week. Our full Art Basel timeline is on the Journal.
