Lifted gently, usually with a remover first, never in one aggressive pass.
Bleach that stopped at orange or yellow
Orange needs more lift; yellow needs the right toner. A daylight photo tells us which.
Banding and hot roots
Sections with different histories get different formulas, then one gloss to pull it together.
Green or brassy from the pool, the ocean, or well water
Mineral buildup; a clarifying treatment first, then color.
Over-processed, fried, breaking
Bond repair before and during, a cut where it is honest to cut, and a plan spread over weeks if that is what the hair can take.

How a Hair Emergency Is Handled Here

- A free consultation with a colorist who does this every week. You hear what is possible today, what needs a second visit, and the price, before anything is mixed.
- Bonds first. Any lift runs with a bond multiplier and finishes with a treatment. The goal is hair that is healthier when you leave than when you arrived, not just a better color.
- A chair whenever and as soon as the schedules allow. Seven days a week, including the days the rest of the Beach is closed.
- The honest timeline. Some corrections are one afternoon. Some are two appointments a few weeks apart. We will not fry your hair to save you a second visit.

How long it actually takes
Honest ranges, not the fastest possible answer. What decides it is how much pigment has to come out and how much the hair can take in one sitting — and those two are usually in conflict, which is the whole difficulty of this work.
Toning orange or yellow
One appointment, two to three hours
If the hair is light enough already, this is a toner and a treatment. It is the best case and it is common.
Banding or hot roots
One appointment, three to four hours
Different sections have different histories, so they get different formulas, then one gloss to pull it together.
Box dye lifted to a natural shade
One or two appointments
A remover first, then color. Going back to your own depth is one visit; going lighter than the box usually is not.
Box dye black to blonde
Two to four appointments, weeks apart
Anyone promising this in one sitting is planning to either damage the hair or paint it dark again at the end.
Over-processed and breaking
A plan, not an appointment
Bond repair, a cut where cutting is honest, and color work spaced out. Sometimes the right first visit changes no color at all.
Extensions matted or slipping
One appointment, two to four hours
Untangled, removed cleanly, reinstalled or replaced, and matched to the hair they sit in.
What we will not do
Correction is the one service where the wrong yes costs more than a no. These are the answers you may not want, said before you are in the chair rather than after.
We will not take you from black to blonde in one sitting.
It can be done. It cannot be done without damage that takes two years to grow out.
We will not put lightener on hair that is already breaking.
The first visit may be a treatment and a cut. That is not us upselling — it is the only way there is hair left to color later.
We will not quote a correction from a description.
Send a daylight photo. Every colorist who quotes corrective work over the phone is guessing, and the guess is always low.
We will not pretend one appointment is enough when it is not.
You will hear the real number of visits at the consultation, and the price of each, before anything is mixed.
Before you come in
Five minutes of this makes the consultation shorter and the quote more accurate. It costs nothing and it is the same advice we would give a friend.
Take a photo in daylight, no filter.
Outside or by a window, hair down, one from the back and one from the front. Indoor light hides orange, and a filter hides everything.
Do not put anything else on it.
Another box, a drugstore toner, a purple shampoo used hard — each one adds a layer we have to remove first, and each one makes the appointment longer and dearer.
Do not wash it right before.
A day or two of natural oil protects the scalp through a lift. Come in with second-day hair.
Tell us what has been on it, honestly.
Henna, a home bleach two years ago, a box from a different brand each time — none of it is a judgement, all of it changes the chemistry. Guessing wrong is what turns one appointment into three.

How fast can you see me for a hair emergency?
Whenever and as soon as the schedules allow. Text us and send photos — daylight, no filter — or call for help. We answer the same day, tell you honestly what it will take, and get you in as fast as the floor can. We are open seven days a week, including the Sundays and Mondays most of Miami Beach closes, so the wait is usually shorter than you fear.
How much does color correction cost?
It is priced individually after a free consultation, because no two corrections are the same job. For reference, a single-process color starts at $110, a gloss or toner overlay at $65, partial highlights at $205, and the Olaplex Bond Multiplier is a $50 add-on during any lift. You will have the number before anything is mixed.
Can you fix box dye that went black or too dark?
Usually, and usually not in one sitting. Dark box dye has to be lifted gently, often with a color remover first and a bond builder throughout, and rushing it is how hair gets fried. Expect an honest plan that may take two appointments a few weeks apart, and expect to leave the first one already looking better.
My bleach went orange or yellow. Can it be toned?
Orange means the lift stopped too early; yellow means it got there but was never toned. Both are fixable. Orange usually needs more lift before toning; yellow often needs only the right toner. A photo in daylight tells us which, and a consultation confirms it.
What about banding, hot roots, or green from the pool?
All routine for a colorist who does correction every week. Banding and hot roots are about balancing formulas across sections that have different histories. Green from chlorine or well water is mineral buildup and lifts with a clarifying treatment before any color goes on.
Can you fix extensions that are matted, slipping, or the wrong color?
Yes. Matting is untangled and the hair underneath assessed for breakage; tape and bonds that are slipping are removed cleanly and reinstalled or replaced; mismatched color is corrected on the extension hair and on yours so the blend reads as one head of hair. Will my hair be damaged further?
The whole point of a correction is to stop the damage, not add to it. That means bond builders during any lift, a treatment at the end, and sometimes the honest advice to wait a few weeks between steps. If your hair cannot safely take what you are asking for today, you will hear that at the consultation, along with what it can take.
