Can you quote me before I come in?

Yes, and it takes about a minute: text a photo of your hair to (305) 604-0550 along with what you're hoping for, and a stylist will come back with a quote. A photo tells us most of what we need — current color, length, texture, and condition. If you'd rather have the conversation in person, a free consultation gets you the same answer with hands in your hair.

Why do prices differ between stylists?

Services are priced by level, so professionals with more experience, more advanced education and a larger loyal clientele charge more. Hair runs Senior, Master and Director. Nails run their own two levels, Nail Technician and Senior Technician. You choose the level that fits your hair and your budget, and you always know which one you are booking. Skin, waxing, threading, microblading and tanning are one price whoever performs them.

Do I have to pay for a consultation?

No. Every service at McAllister Spa includes a free consultation, and there's free parking on site while you're here. Nothing is committed and nothing is charged until you've agreed on both the result and the price.

Most hair services show three numbers. They are not three different haircuts — they are the same service with a Senior, Master or Director stylist. You choose the level, and you can ask for a person by name.

A more senior stylist is not a better result on a simple service — it is more years of judgment on a complicated one. If you are unsure which you need, say what you want done and we will tell you honestly which level it takes. Nails read from two levels rather than three, and skin, waxing, threading and tanning are flat-priced.

What moves your price

Every number on this page is where a service starts. Four things move it, and none of them is a surprise at checkout — you hear the number before anything begins.

Length and density: Hair past the shoulder takes more product and more time, and very thick hair takes more of both again. This is the single biggest factor on color.
What is already on the hair: Box dye, a previous bleach, or a build-up of at-home product all change what a service takes. Correcting someone else's work is priced individually rather than off the menu.
How far you are going: A root touch-up and a full head of highlights are different services. Going several levels lighter in one sitting may not be safe in one sitting, and we will say so.
Condition: Fragile or over-processed hair needs bond care built into the service. That is a real cost and it is not optional; it is what keeps the hair on your head.

Corrective work — box dye gone dark, bleach stopped at orange, banding, breakage — is quoted after a free consultation and never off this page. Text photos and we will answer the same day.
