Fariba's Story
Fariba is a Senior Colorist who has been doing hair since 1996. She trained at the Graham Webb Academy of Cosmetology in Ballston, Virginia, took her color education with Goldwell, and spent a year teaching at a Paul Mitchell cosmetology school.
Guests ask for her by name for two things: color correction and eyebrow threading. Threading lifts a row of hair at a time with a twisted cotton thread, drawing a more exact line than wax and suiting skin that reacts to it — and she is the only person here who does it. She is also one of three curly specialists, and she cuts, styles and does keratin.
She is from Iran and sees guests in English, Farsi and Arabic. The one thing she tells everyone in her chair: everyone needs home maintenance.
