All-Over Color, Mixed for Your Hair

All-over color is the service people book most and talk about least: a richer brunette, a warmer red, a shade that finally matches your skin, or simply less gray. It looks simple from the chair and it is not. The shade is formulated for your starting color, your porosity and how much of your hair has been colored before, and that formula is what decides whether the result reads as yours or as dye.

Our colorists work in the full Goldwell range (TopChic permanent color, Colorance gloss, Elumen and Nectaya) and L'Oréal INOA when you want ammonia-free permanent color. Your colorist chooses the line at the consultation, and tells you why.

Gray Coverage That Doesn't Announce Itself

Most guests asking about gray want less of it, not none. Blending keeps the natural variation that makes hair read as real, and it grows out softly instead of leaving a hard line at the root. Between full colors, a gloss keeps the tone fresh and the regrowth quiet.

Every appointment is different — corrective color and damaged hair treatments are priced individually during a free consultation.

Lighter, Brighter or Corrected

If you want to go noticeably lighter, or want sun-kissed pieces rather than one all-over shade, that is highlights and balayage. If a previous color went wrong, start with color correction, which is priced at a free consultation because no two are the same. Men's color and gray blending start at $85 on the men's page, and the full hair menu lists every service in the building. Limited free parking on site.

Common Questions

How much does hair color cost?

Single process color starts at $110 with a Senior stylist, $125 with a Master and $140 with a Director. Double process starts at $175. Every price is published on this page, and yours is confirmed at a free consultation before any color is mixed.

What is the difference between single and double process color?

Single process is one color, applied in one step, to change or deepen your shade or to cover gray. Double process is two steps: the hair is lightened first, then toned to the finished shade. It is how you get a lighter, even all-over result than one color can lift to on its own.

Do you offer ammonia-free hair color?

Yes. L'Oréal INOA is an ammonia-free permanent color on our menu, from $110, and Goldwell Elumen is a long-lasting direct dye that needs no developer to deposit. Your colorist will say which suits your hair at the consultation.

Can you cover my gray?

Yes. Gray coverage is single process color, priced on the same menu row. Most guests want the gray blended rather than blocked out, so the colorist matches it to your natural variation. If the gray is only showing at the root, a gloss between full colors keeps it soft for longer.

What is a gloss or overlay?

A gloss refreshes tone and shine without changing your base color. It is the in-between appointment that keeps blonde from turning brassy and brunette from going flat. Goldwell Colorance, Elumen and Shades EQ overlays are on the menu from $65, usually alongside another color service.

I want highlights or balayage. Is that this page?

Highlights, ombré and balayage have their own page and their own menu, because they are placed by hand section by section rather than applied all over. See the balayage page for prices and specialists. Your colorist can combine both, a base color and lighter pieces, in one visit.

Did we take care of you?

A review takes about a minute and means the world to the artist who took care of you — it's also how the next guest finds us.
