Jie's Story
Jie is a Director who was born in Beirut, trained in Paris in 1985, and has spent four decades behind the chair.
He owned and ran his own salons for many years — JiE Salon, JiE Privé and JiE New York, in Toronto and New York — and worked the Paris, London, New York, Milan and Toronto Fashion Weeks. Guests who saw his television makeover show, Sexy Girl, still come to him to be transformed.
Transformation is what he is asked for: reinventing a look from the consultation and the cut through color and styling. He is also one of three stylists here who specialize in curly and textured hair. He sees guests in English, Arabic and French, and tells every new one the same thing: “You’re about to be JiE-ified!”
