December 31
New Year's Eve at McAllister Spa
One day a year we run a different menu. A short list of services, every chair turning, everyone out in time for the night — at event pricing that applies only on December 31. Every other day of the season, including all of Art Basel week, is our regular published price.

Important
December 31 is the one day of the year the regular menu does not apply. A cut or color that day carries a styling premium on top of the menu price, because the finishing is charged at event-day rates, and a paid blowout is always at the special event price. Your exact price is confirmed when you book.
Booking December 31
Every appointment that day takes a non-refundable reservation fee at booking, applied to your visit at checkout. Depending on the appointment it is either a deposit or the full amount, and you will be told which before anything is charged.
The rest of the year works the way it always does. The full menu and every published price applies every other day of the season, including all of Art Basel week. January 1 is one of only three days a year we close — the holiday booking calendar has the other two, and what to book around them.

Common Questions
Why does December 31 have its own menu and pricing?
It is the busiest single day of our year and it runs on a different clock: a short list of services, every chair turning, everyone out the door in time for the night. A limited event menu at event pricing is how we keep that promise. Every other day of the season, including all of Art Basel week, runs at our regular published prices.
What does it cost?
Event pricing for December 31 is being finalised and will be published on this page before booking opens. We would rather show you nothing than show you a number that changes.
Can I book a haircut or color on New Year's Eve?
Yes. December 31 is the one day of the year the regular menu does not apply, so a cut or colour that day carries a styling premium on top of the menu price rather than coming out at it — the finishing is charged at event-day rates. A paid blowout is always at the special event price on the 31st. Your exact price is confirmed when you book, and nothing is charged before you have been told it.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. Every December 31 appointment takes a non-refundable reservation fee at booking, which is applied to your visit at checkout. Depending on the appointment it is either a deposit or the full amount; you will be told which when you book.
When does booking open?
The event menu is published here first, and booking opens after that. Text us and we will tell you the date, or watch this page.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as you can. December 31 slots are the first to disappear in December, and the late-afternoon appointments go first of all. If your plans are firm, book the moment we open the day.
Did we take care of you?
A review takes about a minute and means the world to the artist who took care of you — it's also how the next guest finds us.
