Nail Art in Miami Beach, Starting at $4 a Nail

Nail art has a reputation for being either an accent nail or a full production with nothing in between. In practice it's priced per nail, which means the scale is entirely yours to set.

What it costs

Nail art starts at $4 — per nail, so a single accent finger is a few dollars and ten nails of detailed work is a real service. Simple line work, a French twist, a bit of chrome or a small design sit at the accessible end. Intricate hand-painted detail takes longer and prices accordingly.

That structure exists so nobody has to choose between plain nails and a commitment. One statement nail on each hand is a completely legitimate order, and a common one.

Choose the base first

Art goes on top of a base service, and the base determines how long the art survives.

Gelish gel manicure — from $49. Cured under light, hard-wearing, and the most common foundation for art because it won't chip out from under the design a week in.

SNS powder dip manicure — $65. Dip is a genuine alternative to gel, applied as a powder rather than a polish and known for durability and strength. It's a strong base if your nails need reinforcement as well as decoration. We wrote more about how SNS compares to gel.

Classic manicure — from $23. Regular polish. Beautiful for an event this weekend, and honest about its lifespan: art on classic polish lives as long as the polish does.

Traditional gel full set — from $69, with fills from $49, if you're adding length as well. Pink and white sets start from $79.

Already have a manicure booked and want to upgrade the finish? A Gelish polish upgrade starts from $20.

Bring a picture, not a description

The single most useful thing you can do is show up with an image. "Something beachy with gold" means five different things to five different people; a photo means one. Screenshots are fine — a saved image, a photo of someone's hand, anything concrete.

Two honest caveats. Very intricate designs need nail length to sit on; a design that looks right on long almond nails may need simplifying on short ones, and your technician will tell you. And detailed art takes time — if you're booking for an event, say so when you book so we can allow for it rather than rushing it.

The Miami Beach reality

Nails here live a harder life than nails elsewhere. Pool chemicals, salt water and sun are rough on polish, which is a genuine argument for gel or dip over classic if you're heading into a beach week rather than a dinner. Sunscreen is also worth mentioning — it does no favors to a fresh manicure, so let it dry before you apply.

If you need art gone later: Gelish removal is $5, and SNS removal is $10. Please don't pick it off — that takes the top layer of your natural nail with it.

Everything above is a starting price, and the final number depends on the design's complexity and your nail length. Text a photo of the look you want to (305) 604-0550 and we'll quote it before you book.
