Mother's Day in Miami Beach — A Morning That Shows

Mother's Day falls on the second Sunday of May, and the most common way it goes wrong is a gift that sits in a drawer. A morning that ends with her looking the way she wants to look does not sit in a drawer.

The order that works

Skin first, then nails, then hair. A facial leaves skin clean and slightly flushed and wants half an hour before anything else; nails need drying time that hair can absorb; and hair last means she walks out with the blowout still perfect rather than sitting through two more appointments with it.

Here is what that looks like on the menu:

  • A Signature HydraFacial, $185. Cleanse, exfoliate, extract, hydrate — real work with no downtime, which is the reason it is the right facial for a day with a lunch on the end of it. The full HydraFacial menu runs from that to the Restorative at $305.
  • A Classic Manicure, $23–$28, or a Gelish gel manicure, $49–$65. Gel if she wants it to last the fortnight; regular polish if she likes changing her mind. A Classic Pedicure is $49–$59.
  • A Stylist Blowout, $70–$85. The single most transformative thing on the list for the money, and the one she will notice in the mirror at the restaurant.

That sequence is about three hours of a Sunday morning, in one building, with free parking. We are open Sundays — 11AM to 7PM — which much of Miami Beach is not.

If you want to go further

Color is the meaningful upgrade, and it is the one that needs planning. A single process starts from $110, balayage from $240, and either wants to be booked a week or two ahead rather than the day of — partly for the calendar and partly because good color takes time. A haircut with blow dry from $125 rolls the blowout into something that lasts past the weekend.

Brows are the small thing that changes a face: eyebrow threading from $40.

The timing mistake

Mother's Day weekend is one of the busiest of the year in this building, and the Sunday morning slots go first — usually two to three weeks out. If the plan is a Sunday morning, book it at the end of April. If you have missed that, Saturday is the same gift a day early, and she will not mind.

On giving it as a gift

We sell gift cards in the salon — not online — so call or text and we will have one ready, or pick one up at 1301 Alton Road. Honestly, though, the stronger gift is the booking itself: you know it is the right service, it is on the calendar, and it does not sit in a drawer.

Text (305) 604-0550 with what you have in mind and we will build the morning around it. Free consultation on every service. See what's coming on the calendar for the other dates worth booking around.
